Brushed mosaic tiles
Brushing works the face with abrasive nylon and steel heads until the softer minerals give way and the harder ones stand slightly proud. The result is a shallow, even texture you can feel with a fingertip — but the edges are left alone, so the piece keeps the sharp perimeter that tumbling takes away. Almost all of ours are limestone: Shellstone, Rustic Green and Creamy Beige.
That combination is the reason it exists in our range at all. Anywhere a floor is going to be walked on wet, texture is what you want; anywhere a pattern has to hold its geometry, a crisp edge is what you want. Brushing is the only face we hold that gives both, which is why the two-tone fan and scallop sheets we cut in-house are made this way rather than tumbled.
