Brushed stone wall and floor tiles

The smallest group in the tile range, and limestone throughout — Shellstone worked with abrasive brushes until the surface carries a shallow, even texture. The edges are not touched, so the tile keeps a square perimeter and can be laid to a tight joint.

It is the finish to specify when a floor needs some grip but the room does not want the aged look that tumbling brings with it. That is particularly true of the large-format hexagons, where a rounded edge would blur the geometry that makes the shape worth having in the first place.
