Picket mosaic tiles
Picket — the elongated hexagon, sometimes called a lantern or an arrowhead — sits between a brick and a hexagon. The long axis stretches a wall the way herringbone does, while the pointed ends stop the joints lining up into a hard grid.
We make it in honed and brushed stone: Carrara White, Nero Marquina, Equator and Shellstone limestone. Like herringbone it is directional, and the direction is worth deciding before any adhesive goes on — run vertically it lifts a low ceiling, run horizontally it widens a narrow en-suite.
