Brick — the small-format metro or subway sheet — is the least demanding pattern to specify and the easiest to fix. Rectangular chips run in a staggered bond, so a wall reads as horizontal lines rather than a grid, and a substrate that is slightly out is more forgiving than it would be under a square mosaic.

We produce it in Carrara White, Platinum Grey, Calacatta Sugar, travertine and onyx, honed, polished and tumbled. Polished behind a hob keeps splashes on the surface where they can be wiped off; tumbled suits a shower, where the softened edge and the extra grout line both work in your favour.
